The UNIVERGE SV7000 Telephony Server fuses existing NEC technologies with dynamic advancements in software and  hardware design.

With more than 700 service features that enhance productivity, reduce operating costs, and improve communications efficiency, the SV7000 combines innovative hardware and software that allows your organisation to grow from 1 to over 6,000 ports.

• ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network) - The UNIVERGE SV7000 fully supports a digital carrier service for phone, fax and PC, enabling you to dial in to your extension direct and support voice and data multimedia applications. With ISDN you have access to caller identification, malicious call trace, advice on call charges and potential savings on tariffs.
• LCR (Least cost routing) - You could save thousands of dollars on call charges each year as the UNIVERGE SV7000 automatically selects the most efficient and cheapest trunk route available for your call, at any time of the day or night.
• CCIS and FCCS - Common Channel Interoffice Signalling (CCIS) and Fusion Call Control Signalling (FCCS) are powerful networking features offered exclusively by NEC. They integrate multiple network nodes to form one logical network, providing feature transparency and centralised telecommunications.
• Efficient network usage - The UNIVERGE SV7000 when optioned with CCIS or FCCS, automatically reconstitutes any multiple links between common points, freeing up the availability of equipment to perform at its peek capacity.
• Log-out transfer - Transfer calls automatically when the intended recipients have logged out of their Dterm IP telephone
• Dterm IP health check function - By performing status checks against connected terminals, the UNIVERGE SV7000 can give itself an instant diagnostic. If a fault is found among the terminals, the system administrator can be alerted
• Bandwidth control - Assigns maximum bandwidth on a location ID basis to ensure consistent voice quality is maintained.
• Peer-to-peer switching - Provides support for true peer-to-peer IP switching (IP to traditional and vice versa), and is capable of handling more than 32,000 �busy hour� call attempts
